I'm convinced that the closer we get to what we enjoyed in childhood, the more authentic, genuine and thus happy we'll be. As I reflect on my childhood, it was more than just the bike I lived on. It was also more than the sense of accomplishment after a long ride or a hard climb.
It was the joy of finding new places, of discovery, of exploration. It was the joy of returning home with a tale to tell. It was the joy of seeing what's around the corner, of feeling like I had connected with a new place, new people, new ideas. NJ bike tours gives me that chance, to be a kid again.
